5 years (yesterday!!!)

Happy 5 years to Marko and me! It was a great night. I had a surprise for Mark and he had a surprise for me. My surprise: I put 5 different clues around town leading him several different places and he eventually ended up at the Indian Mound with (it was supposed to be) candelight dinner. But as always, things don't work out how they should. When I got there to get all the dinner set up, there were tons of people, lots of loud music, and lots of Harleys= it was a motorcycle man festival! Crazy huh? So we had to drive to another park and have our dinner there. It was still nice though.

Here's us on the Indian Mound right before we left the crowd. Seriously, there was a concert going on right below us. It was craziness.
This was Mark's surprise: he invited all of the sweet YW over for a sleepover! So after we came home, mom said she thought she heard noises in the back of the house. Mark walked back and eventually, carefully I went back and saw my YW! I heard them from down the hall and exclaimed, "Oh my YW are here!" It was sooo fun!
They enacted one of my favorite books, Horton Hatches the Egg by Dr Suess. What a fun performance!! Thanks Marko for an absolutely wonderful anniversary, best one yet!

Here are the top 10 reasons why I love my Marko ninja man (not in any order):

1- He puts Ethan and me first 100% all the time. He always makes sure our needs are met.

2- Without fail, he makes us laugh every single day. I love his sense of humor and goofiness! It makes life so fun!

3- His dream is to work at home just so he can be with the family and see all the big milestones.

4- He is a very, very worthy Priesthood holder and always dresses up for the Priesthood blessings he gives me and/or Ethan.

5- So so so fun, never a dull moment with that boy!

6- He plays and plays and plays with Ethan and absolutely loves it! They play ninjas, cars, Superman, wrestling, etc.

7- He treats me like an absolute queen.

8- He opens doors for me still, even after 5 years!

9- He supports me in whatever project I'm doing 100%.

10- I love that he is so interested in becoming a better parent and listens intently when I tell him what I've learned from class/books about parenting. Always trying to better himself as a parent.

WOW, HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY!!! That is amazing! Just five years ago I was your bridesmaid... aww! What a beautiful bride you were, too! And I still have my bridesmaid dress... as IF I will ever fit into it again!

And you look absolutely gorgeous. In that picture with the YW, you look stunning. Your jewelry is gorgeous and your shirt and your HAIR and you just look SO pretty! I think you look awesome!

I am glad you married Mark-- I'd never let anyone else have my Leah!
