So ever since Mark and I first got married, we've always, always dreamed of living in Denver. Our dreams have finally come true!! Mark went to a geologist conference in Denver a few weeks ago and got introduced to a fabulous oil and gas exploration company and they invited us out!! We are SOOO STOKIFIED!!!!! It is his absolute dream job (he says he wouldn't mind retiring with this company, and that's saying a lot for him). We are so excited to hike and ski and bike and camp again because we've been very deprived of that here in WV. And most likely, this will be our last cross country move because we really want to end up in Denver permanently. The only problem is that the next few weeks are going to be beyond CRAZY.Here are the things we need to do in about 2 weeks time:
-Have a baby and bless her (pleeease come soon Eliza!!)
-Find a new tenant for our apartment, pack up, and move out
-Move all of our stuff back into mom's house for about a week
-Load all of our stuff into a moving truck
-Find an apartment in Denver without actually seeing it and preschool for Ethan, etc., etc.
-And, of course, say goodbye to all of our wonderful WV friends that we are going to miss so much!!
Then Mark drives out there with all of our stuff right after Eliza comes and me and the 2 kids fly out there about a month later. AHHHHH!!! Things are pretty crazy here at the moment if you can't tell...

WOW! Congratulations! That is really exciting, awesome and stressful! But you guys will make it! How fun! We have thought Colorado would be an awesome place to live! How fun for you guys! I hope Eliza comes really soon!!!
Didn't yall just kind of move into your apartment? I don't envy yall. I hate packing, expecially with short notice. And then you are 9 months pregnant! We had to pack our apartment in two days after the hurricane and we rushed and when we finally got to unpack our boxes 8 months later, some stuff were broken. Good luck!
Shmee that is so exciting! You will be so much closer then! Didn't Mark just get a job in WV? Either way, if this is where he wants to be, go for it! Denver is beautiful, and we will come visit! Doug loves CO! Good luck with everything, it sounds crazy but you can do it!!
I'm just thinking good thoughts for you tonight. Labor pain etc. We will miss you terribly but I'm so excited for you to be where you want to be. Yeah!
Oh my gosh, Leah! That is just insane!! That is so much to do, and I wish you tons of luck. Moving is so annoying, but that is just GREAT that you get to go to a place you've always wanted to. Good luck finding a person to rent your place too, and even more good luck that Eliza will come soon and all will go well. We'll be praying for her speedy and fast arrival!
oh wow, we love denver, davids sister lives there and we love visiting them there, they love it there too, congrats!
i cant believe you are having eliza in 2 weeks!
Good luck with everything!! Exciting about Colorado!! Maybe all this stress will put you into labor a bit early!
That is AWESOME!! We might end up in Colorado one day as well-- we love it. It is so beautiful there, and there is tons to do outdoors. Maybe we can have our life-long dream of being neighbors!! Congratulations. That is so exciting.
And... don't worry too much about dilating early... with Hyrum, I was dilated and effaced WAY early and he didn't come until 2 days before his due date. I dilated really early with David as well. It doesn't really tell you when the baby is coming. But I sure can't wait to meet her!
