Ethan, oh wait I mean me, gave a talk in Primary today. He was nervous so I ended up giving the whole talk. Lucky me. I thought I would share it anyways because it's really cute... he wrote himself, I refuse to write talks for him even at this age. We had the primary classes roaring with laughter at some points. The topic was that all family members have important responsibilities. So here it goes.
A family is a true or good family. Dad and Mom are in the family. A responsibility is that we keep true. A daddy's job is to make fires, to work, to play with the kids and make us stuff like my gun and arrow. A mom's job is to watch over the kids when the daddy is not here. My job is to make a fire with daddy when it's not burning hot. A brother's job is to also watch over babies when the grown ups are in the yard. A sister's job is to watch over the brother when he's a baby. Eliza's job is to do nothing. Children's jobs are to help with sweeping and cooking. A family has to be good but if they do a bad choice we could repent. Families can be happy by loving each other and doing family home evening.
Sure do love this boy. He is the light of our lives.

Kids say the funniest things. Kaelyn had a talk last week, but I completely forgot about it. I'm such a slacker.
Good Talk by Ethan, He is one smart boy and you have both been teaching him wonderfully. What a sweet family you are, you can tell he has been taught the right things. Miss you all.
that is HILARIOUS!! Totally loved reading it!!!
how cute! i really like that talk. they should let kids give talks in sacrament meeting :)
That's great! Curt is a big fan of having the kids write their own talks. Thanks for the tip!
HA! Love it! Wish Ethan would have given it himself, but it sounds so cute anyway.
