Sleepover and more
On Friday we had our family sleepover. We do it about once a month. It consists of eating junk for dinner, playing games or looking at pictures, settling down for a movie together in the living room, then crashing on the floor or mattresses set up in the living room. Not Mark and my favorite... it seems like every time we have a sleepover Mark and I sleep horribly. Ethan absolutely loves it so we have decided (grudgingly) to make it a monthly tradition.
This time we decided to make some fruit kabobs for dinner with fresh bread. MMM. So fun to do and so yummy to eat!
Having our picnic dinner in the living room.
Here is our sleeping set up. I slept on the couch, Eliza slept in her pack and play, and Mark and Ethan shared his mattress together. Sorry Marko! Ethan is a total bed hog (inherited from me).
This is one of our favorite things to do. When Eliza wakes up, Ethan and I go into her room together, Ethan gets in her bed, and jumps and talks and giggles. They both absolutely love it.
I've also been having fun trying clothes on Eliza. She is starting to fit into all of her 12 month clothes and I am thrilled! So so fun to try them on her! Eliza loves to suck on her 2 middle fingers. We were driving in the car the other day and she was being really fussy which is unlike her. So I looked back and noticed that her sucking hand was covered up by her sweater. I uncovered it and she went on happily sucking her 2 middle fingers.
Speaking of trying new clothes on her, I pulled out this beauty from her closet and I was absolutely delighted that if fit her. I've been looking at this dress almost daily since she's been in my belly and waiting, not very patiently, until the day she would fit in it. Thanks for the dress mom! It was gorgeous and we got tons of comments at church today!

My babies are soooooo cute. I have three strings attached to my heart and each one is held by an angel....Leah, Ehtan & Eliza.

What a fun tradition! Good for you guys for suffering happily through it. Oh the things parents do for their kids. :-) Eliza's dress is way cute!!
I love that dress!! I too have some stuff in Eleanor's closet that I just stare at and get so excited for the day she'll fit in them :)
That sleep over idea is so fun! We have planned to do that with Zeeli but have never really gotten around to it. I do a special movie day with her once a week where we eat popcorn and lemonade. She loves to do that.
