Here's what we've been up to:
Went to a fun Christmas parade downtown. Here's Santa, Ethan's favorite part.
Then went to Mark's office after to feed Eliza before getting back on the packed train.
So excited!
Poor Eliza was so overstimulated although she loved all the lights. Fortunately, she eventually went to sleep.

This is our family project: we're making blankets for the homeless. So here's why... Mark works in the heart of downtown and he says every time he comes out of the office, he sees multiple homeless people on the streets. So we wanted to teach Ethan the importance of service so decided to make some blankets for our freezing winters. It's been a fun thing for us (even though Ethan is usually too busy playing cars to help us with the blankets. Oh well.)

Ethan had a fun Christmas program in joyschool. They sang songs, did a nativity reenactment, and had a potluck. He was Joseph.

At the end of the program, the kids gave their parents presents which was, as you can see, drawings of the night Christ was born. This drawing may not be spectacular to some of you, but for Ethan it's amazing. His drawing usually consists of scribbles and more scribbles. Too busy and impatient to draw anything that looks even close to what he says it is. So this is his manger with Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus. The yellow is the star. We were shocked and even more shocked when we found out he had no help from his teacher.
